Clean Up Kit
We've made some important changes for 2012, so please read on...
When you register a clean up as part of National Spring Clean we send you a FREE Clean Up Kit to help you get started. We will get this to you as soon as possible but please allow 21 days for delivery to avoid disappointment!
The Kit includes:
- Protective tabards for participants
- An A3 poster to promote your event
- "I'm helping to Keep Scotland Tidy" stickers for children
Your Information Pack is available online. This pack will help you to plan your activities and contains:
- Organiser Checklist
- Staying Safe Factsheet
- Council Contacts List
- Feedback Form
- Details of special offers and competitions.
Please contact your local council to request additional litter-picking equipment (eg litter pickers and protective gloves) and to arrange for the disposal of the litter you collect as we are, unfortunately, unable to provide these services ourselves.
If you wish to purchase your own litter pickers these are available from a number of suppliers but Helping Hands are currently running a special offer for people taking part in National Spring Clean.
New for 2012
This year we have put the Information Pack online and will be making the clear and black bags available to local authorities rather than sending them out to you in the post.
We decided to do this as many of you said you did not need them and it will help us reduce the carbon cost of transporting the bags. (It will also help us to save valuable funds that we can use to make the campaign even bigger and better). So when you contact your local authority for gloves and litter pickers don’t forget to ask if they will be bringing bags with them.
