Registration Terms & Conditions

National Spring Clean is operated by Keep Scotland Beautiful, incorporated under the Companies Acts (company number SC206984, Scottish charity number SC030332) and having its registered office at Wallace House, 17-21 Maxwell Place, Stirling, FK8 1JU.

By registering with National Spring Clean, you and your organisation/group agree that:

  1. Keep Scotland Beautiful can store your contact details and share them with your local authority if required so they can support your event.
  2. If the online map option has been selected, the organiser’s contact details will appear on the website, alongside the event details.
  3. Only content related to the purposes of the site will be submitted on the online forms. Inappropriate content will result in the organiser/group's details being removed from the site.
  4. The terms and conditions of the National Spring Clean website will be adhered to.
  5. Any registered event will be managed and promoted in a responsible manner, giving consideration to factors including the safety of volunteers, supervision of activities and the proper disposal of waste.
  6. The appropriate local authorities and landowners will be consulted and local laws and regulations respected.
  7. National Spring Clean activities are conducted in a spirit of cooperation with other community groups and organisations, and public participation is encouraged as appropriate.
  8. Any photographs submitted to Keep Scotland Beautiful must be with the prior consent of participants (or their parents if under 16 years old) on the understanding that they may be used for publicity purposes by Keep Scotland Beautiful.
  9. The photographer maintains copyright of any submitted photographs but it is a condition of entry into the photo competitions that Keep Scotland Beautiful reserves the right to reproduce them without fee for exhibition, web or other publicity purposes.
  10. Keep Scotland Beautiful reserves the right to publish comments and feedback from organisers/participants in publicity materials.
  11. National Spring Clean event details will be reviewed and kept up-to-date to the best of the organiser’s knowledge and ability.
  12. The National Spring Clean and Keep Scotland Beautiful logos will only be used with prior permission from Keep Scotland Beautiful and in accordance with its guidelines.
  13. Keep Scotland Beautiful is not liable for any injury sustained by the group, organisation or participants; nor any loss or damage to property owned by, or in the possession of the group, organisation or participants; nor any act, omission, negligence or fault of any person organising or participating in the activity or activities undertaken.
